Versailles figure désormais parmi les dernières dans le classement des communes d’Île-de-France, en raison de la dégradation de sa gestion financière et de ses services publics au fil des ans.

En 2020, Versailles se trouvait dans une position financière enviable, mais elle a progressivement connu une détérioration de sa situation et de la qualité de sa gestion publique

Sous la direction de FRANÇOIS DE MAZIÈRES, la municipalité actuelle a échoué à anticiper et a laissé des dérives s’installer de façon pérenne.

L’enquête a été menée par le site Bilan de Mandat, qui a rassemblé les données budgétaires mises en ligne par le ministère des Finances sur une période de 7 ans

Affaiblissement de la qualité des services publics VERSAILLAIS

Une gestion financière inadéquate entraînera inévitablement des réductions dans les budgets destinés aux services publics d’ici 2026-2027, ce qui se manifeste par :

• Réduction du personnel : Réduction du personnel pour assurer des services clés tels que la propreté, la sécurité ou l’éducation.
• Diminution de la fréquence des services : Diminution des passages pour la collecte des déchets et horaires réduits pour les bibliothèques et centres communautaires.
• Abaissement de la satisfaction des usagers : Les citoyens, déjà en désaccord avec les services municipaux, seront les premiers à souffrir de la dégradation de la qualité des services, alors qu’ils contribuent au-delà de la moyenne.

Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: we’re Ashley and Christian and we started traveling together in March of 2017 and haven’t stopped since after visiting over 30 countries across four continents we’ve become hooked on seeing tasting and trying new things being pushed out of our comfort zones while traveling has inspired us to set a crazy goal of visiting every country in the [Music] world we just took a short train from Paris to Versailles picked up some baguettes and some coffee and we’re on our way to the Palace we purchase our tickets online ahead of time but they’re not like skip the line tickets or anything it just means that you don’t have to purchase them at the ticket desk in versailes exactly we are a little bit late from our ticket of time but uh that’s all right cuz we have coffee and that’s really what matters this morning it’s about a 40-minute train ride from Paris and then a 20 minute walk from there because the re sea line is not working this year they have it down for construction so we had to take a different one that drops you off quite a bit farther away from vers we can see the palace we can also see the line which is extremely [Music] long Versa has been around since 1607 originally a simple chatau and hunting lodge but it wasn’t until the reign of King Louis the 14th that it began to expand and eventually become what it is today even after the fall of the monarchy in 1792 Versa has been preserved and maintained ever since [Music] we are in the war room right now a lot of the art in here replaces mythological creatures with Louis the 14th which of course was the king and then on the main piece of art it actually has Louis the 14th’s enemies being crushed beneath his horse so obviously this entire Palace is dedicated to him but this room especially really depicts his power we’re in one of our favorite rooms which is the Hall of mirors this is this extremely long hallway with mirrors obviously and a bunch of chandeliers in total in the Hall of Mirrors there is 357 probably just as many chandeliers as well mirrors were actually not very common in the 17th century they were a sign of power wealth and self-confidence so of course King Louis the 14th had to make an entire room dedicated to MIRS this also happens to be the room that the Treaty of Rai was signed in in 1919 which is pretty dang cool to be able to stand somewhere where such significant history has taken place we are now in the king’s bed chamber and historically the queen and the king would not sleep together they had separate living quarters so this is the King’s Room and this is actually where Louis the 14th died he died of gang grain after raining for 72 years so we are in the queen bed chamber now as you can tell it’s a little bit more feminine than the Kings Marie Anette actually escaped behind a hidden door back behind the believe it’s the jewelry cabinet when they were invaded in the 1780s I think see the door guys look for the L you can kind of see it it’s like a little cutout that’s so cool very interesting history right there during the people’s Revolution when Maria Anette and Louis the 16th were rainning the common people broke into this room to demand bread from the royal family one of the ladies in Waiting locked the door so they couldn’t get past this room and that’s how Mar Anette escaped through that little tiny do cuz they locked this door and gave her enough time to [Music] escape this painting behind me uh depicts napole when he took over after the French Revolution crowning his wife this thing is huge it’s probably 30 30 ft tall 50 ft wide it’s just a massive [Music] painting we are in the Hall of battles 33 different paintings this is a very interesting Hall that depicts basically the entire history of Francis battles to get to where they are [Music] today paintings all over the walls kind of act as a timeline so it’s kind of cool cuz you walk all the way down the hallway and eventually you see Francis history from the beginning all the way up until the latest [Music] and that is Louis the 14 the Builder of this pal well he didn’t build it the commissioner of this Palace he didn’t probably lay a single brick we just went do that there build this for me so we are now in the gardens there’s over 77 hect Acres of gardens that we can walk through they say that to walk through all of them it would take 2 to 3 hours so we’re going to stick to some of the main sites this is not even considered one of the main areas and yet this is how beautiful it is so I’m very excited we are heading towards the Grand Canal we are headed down there to get some water I’m really thirsty [Music] thirsty we’ve just stopped at one of the little caf that’s on site there’s quite a few of them so if you get hungry or thirsty there’s plenty of options got um a sandwich on a water and we’re just going to sit here it’s very nice outside France is very well known for their Breads and these this bread is incredible it is so soft so there’s some really nice music walking down from the top of the gardens to the bottom it’s like literal Palace music it’s kind of stressful though cuz it kind of like intensifies laugh we’re headed towards the Tron Estates which is the Marie Annet Estates from what I understood from the signs this is where the Grand Canal is so we just took our right and now we’re heading down this little path hoping to find what we’re looking [Music] for Marie anet estate is small compared to Versa I mean it’s like probably 10 times size of our apartment the real difference with what is built back here is the gardens they’re a lot more peaceful a lot less structured there’s a lot more folage and Greenery that’s allowed to just grow she probably created this to get away from like the hustle and bustle of being the queen she wasn’t very empathetic towards her subjects at the time time I think that she tried to seek out a more Simple Life by coming back to these Gardens because you can tell just the way they’re designed and laid out it’s very very peaceful back here compared to versailes they’re all very well manicured and put together and you can tell there’s just such a certain way you’re supposed to look and act there where back here it’s a lot more relaxed we have arrived at the Grand Tron after walking through lapa Tron and let me tell you it’s Grand this is honestly my favorite part of Vera it just feels more real I don’t know like pretty secluded tooze is so Grand that it’s hard to imagine yourself ever living that or being there whereas with this still very Grand and beautiful but it’s a lot more down to earth it’s quite a bit of a walk from the actual Palace so yeah it is we’ve been in Versailles like in this estate area for over 4 hours now and we just made it all the way out here I don’t even think we’ve seen no half of the landscape behind the palace not even probably maybe a quarter yeah it’s there’s so much to do and see Louis the 13th came out here to hunt well when Louis the 14th took over he came out here for same purposes but realized how important these grounds were and how great this setting was so instead of just keeping it for hunting grounds he decided to build his Palace out here and that’s where Versailles the palace and the grounds really came from this was the home of the French King until Louis the 16th in the late 1780s is when the French Revolution began and they overthrew the monarchy and became a republic and so this Grand Canal right over here actually used to be a stinking swamp which is really funny because it’s such a beautiful thing now so what do you think about the gardens Grandma I’ve been given a crap all day cuz she looks like she’s a grandma not because she like what she’s wearing now is good but when she puts that jacket on and she puts her little hair clip in she’s got her skirt on you just look at over you see a little look like no shape wearing this jacket which is fine it’s very comfortable I don’t care what I look like it’s comfy there’s a nice water fountain outside of the gates we’re getting ready to head back to the train station but our camera’s almost dead one of the batteries did not charge last night obviously our camera died we are back in Paris for our last activity today we are going up the tour mont panar mont penar which is a 59 Story Tower that is supposed to have the best view of Paris from it so we are going to figure out how to get up this going all the way up there it’s very high who’s afraid of heights uh not me we take an elevator up 56 floors and it goes up that high in 38 seconds and then we climb three more floors from there one resuming two my ears just popped we are on the 56th floor and they just have a bunch of Windows on this floor that you can see out but we are going to walk up the last three flights of stairs know you tell this is definitely the best view of CIS this is beautiful from up here the park we at last night yes there’s L some okay let’s go up to the [Music] [Music] top do I have a bunch of faces they have these nice protective glass covers up and they have a nice space for your head but I’m like barely too sure to see over it without getting all my tiptoes this is by far the best view with Paris I officially have claimed at that I think it said it was like 204 m to the top or 210 15 M it’s a lot of meters man but this is insane you can literally point out every important piece of Paris from here we’ve done Arctic Triumph and that’s a beautiful view as well it’s more like not eye level but you’re definitely closer to the ground whereas this one you can see everything in the city literally [Music] [Music] [Music] everything [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] that was a perfect way to end our time in Paris this uh view is incredible especially if you wait until night time for everything to light up the Eiffel Tower at sunset and also with the lights and then when it’s all lit up so just a beautiful way to see Paris I’d really recommend it we paid 15 each to come up here but it’s our little Splurge for Paris good way to spend our [Music] [Music] money .
